I don't know six bloggers...sorry.
1. I never use my bare hand to flush the toilet. I don't know why, but I always use a tissue or toilet paper.
2. I have a weird phobia of all animals! I really think it's the hair , maybe a texture thing and let's just face it, some animals are just plain crazy! Or maybe its just me:)
3. I can't stand to see dirty kids. This includes nasty nose, smelly body, sticky hair, any of the above. It drives me nuts and makes me mad because kids are not responsible for themselves. There's an adult not doing his/her job.
4. My house has to be clean and smell clean at least six of the seven days of the week. It drives me nuts when my house isn't clean.
5. I use hand sanitizer throughout the store whenever I'm out shopping. Yeah, I have a germ phobia too.
6. My gas hand can never fall below 1/4 tank. That doesn't seem to be a problem for my husband. Now that we are sharing a car, he seems to forget that I get freaked out if its under 1/4 tank, so now I have to do a daily check before I can even go anywhere.

Just When I'd Given Up
I've been gathering information for school for the past few months. Well the base Family Readiness offers a wonderful program for the spouses. The pay for everything if you go to school! All that was great until I found out it's only for Guam Community College or University of Guam. Well the problem with that is, each school is about 30 minutes from the base and we only have one vehicle AND classes are at night! So it wouldn't work out for us. I was sooo disappointed!
About three weeks later I went to the library, and it was then that I remembered there are three schools on base that offers classes.....So I start to search and get info just to find out the position for an Early Childhood Professor was still vacant at each school. So now I'm really bummed! So of course I started to think this just isn't the right time!(Even though I feel this is the perfect opportunity to start classes again and get my Associates)
Well, just when I had given up....I interviewed a parent on Monday for drop in care. She informed me that she will only need 3 hours.
Parent: "My dental appointment is at 9 and then after that I have to go figure out my class schedule at my new job. I'm so excited, I just got hired at The Central Texas College here on base as the Early Childhood teacher! And I really need my classes to be two days a week at least, Tuesday from 5:30-8:30 and Thursday from 6:00-9:00. I have to see if they will work with that".
Sonya: Completely Speechless!!!!
Well needless to say, I was so excited and overjoyed so I talked to her and she's bringing me info tomorrow. So hopefully I will be starting school in the fall!
Coincidence??? I took it as a blessing. After the interview, I sat down and took a look back at what had just happened. I am truly thankful.
And to add on to the day, I was invited to a women's game night at the Chapel. I get there and I start my games and I feel someone walk up behind me and give me a small hug. I turn around, and...guess who???? Yes! the lady that I interviewed earlier.
Once again! Speechless, I was.....
I just thought I'd share my story....

Crazy, Cute Shoes
Here's my latest addition to my crazy
shoe collection. If you know me, you know
I love shoes and purses! Well I was shopping at
Ross this weekend, and LOOK AT WHAT I FOUND!!!
I love these shoes. And I went right down to another store and found a cute top to match.
I was wondering...
the kind of shoes they wear????
HMMMM...if that was the case, all of you would think I was nuts!

Knee Surgery In the Near Future
As some of you know, Perry has been having trouble with knee for over a year now. So now Navy has him set up with a line of appts for all kinds of testing. Looks like they are trying to do surgery in late August or early September. He's been to two appts so far and he has three more before we find out exactly what they're going to do. They finally got his MRI from Peterson , so we will find out more today after this appt. I will keep everyone posted.

We're Going to Paint!!!
W
Ok, I have somehow convinced my husband that we should paint the dining room and the living room. But I have no idea where to start or what color to start with. I have an idea of what I want the rooms to look like. I can't believe that I'm "stepping outside the box" and trying something new. I know its a lot of work in this, so if you have any ideas or suggestions, please email me. Keep in mind that neither of us has EVER painted a room before....LOL. So wish us luck! Here's what we're working on, so if you have colors in mind, share them...Thanks!
Who knows...if these rooms turn out nice, maybe other rooms will follow! We have three years in this house, may as well make it look like we want it to, right?
Here's to You
Finally, friends! I'm blogging! I created this blog to keep my friends and family up to date on our life and going ons on the other side of this world. I will try to post at least once a week. I know it took long enough, but hey, I did it!
